Just Another Week

Thursday, April 30, 2009 - 7:30 PM   My absence from Daily Strength this week has been due to an illness as well as some lousy care from my home healthcare agency. Thanks to the latter, I wound up having another UTI, but that seems to have disappeared.   There have been several small things, which needed to be taken care of, that I have managed to put off for quite some time. I finally decided to start working on them, and am now making a little headway.   My brother and I have been exchanging some e-mail again. He seems to have changed personalities once again, and I am pleased to say that for the time being we are getting along with one another. We are scheduled to see my therapist on Monday morning. I was to see my therapist alone this Monday, but since we got an unexpected snowfall of five inches, I was unable to keep my appointment.   Kathy, my favorite niece, is going into the hospital next week to have a biopsy for possible breast cancer. I am extremely upset about this. A lot of my time has been spent worrying about her.   I am way behind on reading the journals here, so it looks as though I am going to be spending several hours trying to catch up during the weekend. At least I will have something worthwhile to do.
