In Google's current struggle towards becoming a global news heart, I've come to notice that the outcome provided from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish daily. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles articles directory of some forms?

I only mention this because when publishing my website marketing posts, I often wonder when they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they do! The truth is, they often show up within 4-8 hours of being indexed from other top related web sites.

How can Google News pick it's content?

At the moment, it would appear that 'information centers' & 'pr release organizations' related to your area o-nline are profiting from these search results. If you consider it, would not a press release be considered a type of information anyways? Possibly...

You will realize that only a select few are providing all of the results, if you take a good look at the websites who produce the information within Google news. Again, it's possible that Google's information protocol is still in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of constant battles to conquer.

It could be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of experts in different fields to accept articles/news articles to be able to keep the information source within the Google empire.
