Just about me
Hello everyone,
I came back on here to hopefully make some new friends. New connections in my life near or far. Since I am a travaler at heart and who knows maybe one day I may move and be near someone I become close to on here.
I think I should claify some things about myself first. So, that when there is advice given to me or feedback from something I post in my groups. Because, then this gives the other person an area of which to deliver their advice to me.
I am already experienced and educated in many areas of life and I have a wealth of diversity in culture not only running through my blood and family tree that I already researched. But in other individuals and thier lives and background as well. I am very open minded and have a love for other cultures, traditions and just how they live their lives.
My Mom is born and raised in Poland. My Dad's side is from Vancoucer, Canada. Dad's Mom however moved her family to California. Which is where I was born. That side of my family is French Canadian, Yakki Indian and African-American.
My daughter who will be 2 in a month her father was born and raised in Akkra, Ghana. SO my daughter has a wealth of different cultures running through her blood as well.
I have an associates degree in Human Services and I have worked with indviduals who live with down sydrome, Tourettes syndrome, ADD, ADHD, phobia, and behavior issues. I worked with all ages from kids teens to adults and the elderly.
I also have been a CNA for over 10 years. And now I have changed careers, on March 16th I will have my last class in Medical office Assitant. And praying that I pass the state test. So that I am certified. With all of this said.. I know so very much about self help...and how to work with kids. Not only did I work with that population but my Niece who is 20 has ADHD and bi-polar. My best friend also my daughters godmother suffers from bi-polar as well as depression. I myself suffers from depression. And I have been around so many children that thier parents are my friends. That I had a little heads up on how different kids are, and now I have a little bit of awareness on what to expect now that I've become a first time mom at the age of 32 2 years ago.
Well I shared all that I can with everyone. I hope that I can meet and chat with some new people. Although I am very lucky and blessed to have my childhood friends all still very close to me and in my life at the age of 35. It is still nice to have new people in my life as well. Facebook..twitter..instagram etc...it just does not cut it for me LOL.
Everyone, stay blessed and always take care of yourself.
