Just a note.
Dear DS sisters. A couple of weeks ago I had a mammogram that had me a little concerned, as the doctor there asked for some extra pictures on an area of concern. As it turns out the report came back normal. Whewwww. Went to visit my grandchildren yesterday. Always uplifting. When Christian woke up from his nap he came and cuddled in my arms for about twenty minutes. I was just loving it. How often do you get to cuddle a 3 1/2 year old? Then he pulled out his little easel that my daughter got him for Christmas. Then he said to me “Gam ma, draw a T-Rex” So I made my feeble attempt to draw one. Mind you I can’t draw a lick. So he looked at it and said “That’s not a T-Rex, that’s a brontosaurus.” Well it cracked me up, cause it didn’t look like anything. Then there is that Heidi. What a pleasant beautiful baby. She is walking now and gets so proud of herself she laughs and squeals and just warms the heart. I am so blessed to have such beautiful grandchildren. I am still working at Kohl’s and working poor hours. But I endure till the right thing comes along. It has been a bit chilly here. For Houston anyway. Only in the 40’s today. Looking forward to Spring. Thanks for reading, Love and hugs,Anita

Dear Anita
I love your story about Christian...next time draw some long sharp teeth and he`ll have his T Rex. I`m so happy to hear that your mammo is clear! Try to remain tough while enduring the late work hours :( Lots of love,
xxLinda
It makes me happy if my little story can make you smile. Grand children are such a joy, Linda as you will soon find out.
Dear Anita,
I am so glad to hear your mammogram was ok. Hope you\'re surviving at Kohls.
Your stories about your grandchildren put such a smile on my face! I\'m impressed that you can now draw a Brontosaurus . . . Lol So glad the grandkids bring you such joy, you really deserve some sunshine in your life! Love and hugs xxx LuEllen
Grandchildren do bring a lot of happiness.
I am looking for the first crocus of spring. We can go years with little snow but now we are on our 3rd major snowfall. It is miserable but it does look pretty...
Hi Anita, I told the Dr. onetime that with all the chemo you would think cancer could not appear anywhere else but it does not work that way. Happy that your mamogram came out ok. Living here
in the southwest I have had numeras skin cancers removed thru the years. Just had to have one removed from my neck recently witch left a scar about one and a half inches long.
I pray that you will find a better job soon. I would not like the late hours as I am a morning person. It\'s amazing how fast our grand kids grow. I am happy for you that you get to spend some time with them. Nothing like a good cuddle.
I have never figured out how to do the chat thing. Its probably easy once you know how. Take care, hugs carol
Carol, I do know how to do the chat thing, but I do not like it very much. So sorry about the skin cancers. I am surprised I never had any. Back when I was in my 30\'s I spent alot of time in the sun. I would play tennis in the mornings then sit by the pool in the afternoons with the kids. I would get brown as a berry. I am olive skinned so maybe that is the difference. Thanks you your comment. I hope you are doing well.
Christian and Heidi sound totally adorable.. I laughed out loud at the brontasaurus. You must be a very treasured grandma to have got such a long cuddle.
So pleased with you that the mammogram showed nothing to worry about. I will be wishing loads for your remission to last for ever.. Huge hug to you.. xxx
Hi Anita, That is a wonderful story about Christian and the brontosaurus that you drew. We were talking about children\'s art at work the other day and I told everyone about \'my friend\'s grandson and her drawing\' and they all just laughed and thought it was so cute.
I hope you get better hours soon. I\'ve always liked Kohls and so do my daughters. I need to schedule a mammogram soon so I\'m glad you poked my memory. I\'m glad things worked out with your tests. Much love, Janet
Janet, I am so glad your co-workers enjoyed my little story. I got such a kick out of it so I had to share withe you all. You had to see the serious face he had when he looked at it. So funny.
I have always liked Kohl\'s also. I like the job itself. I enjoy talking to all the customers and enjoy seeing all the pretty things they are purchasing. Maybe in a little while I can ask for better hours. I am too low on the totum pole right now. I do continue to look for the right thing though. Thanks for your comment.
