Just a little concerned

As I am now in the midst of one of my prescribed ,every 4 hours, neb treatments for today and tomorrow, I have a little time on my hands(My hands are also free since they let me keep the breathing mask that they used on me at the ER.  Good deal) I guess the medical folks must know their business. After all the neb treatments, oxygen treatment, and pred, I am feeling pretty good. My only concern is that my O2 levels were marginal when I was released. Usually my readings are 98+ but last night they fluctuated between 88-92  at the time I was released. (They monitored me without the supplemental oxygen for an hour or so and that was the range). I guess that averages 90 which is their standard so I guess i'm being paranoid. They spent some time explaining that prolonged lung disease could cause this but I don't know. Maybe I just hadn't bounced back from the episode. When I was initially triaged it was at 98. While I was there it declined. Weird. I go into see my pulm Aug 4 ( maybe earlier after I tell him about last night. I do not look forward to his lecture.. but I have it coming). Hopefully my O2 will be back where it should be. Tom
