Just a bit better...
I continue to try out cannabis (medicinal cannabis is legal where I am). I just think I've been trying to put too much hope in cannabis. But for some reason I am not finding the relief I get with opioids. I'm finding it a bit difficult to pinpoint a perfect strain since there are so many different ones. Yet I can't seem to stop opioids although I've been able to reduce them a little bit. In the back of my head I know I'm addicted to them, but my pain is constant so why do we call it an addiction?
I think I tend to be so harsh on myself because I use opioids, but the pressure from society that opioids are bad has a negative effect in me.
Yes I have constant pain but opioids also give me a small boost, I guess it's the euphoric effect. So in a way they also give keep me from falling into a worse depression that I'm already in.
