Just Sad
I hope all of you are dealing with your loss better then I am. It will be 8 months and I still cry!!! How long is that going to last. I'm sick of crying but I can't control it. That's why I don't want to talk to people about how I feel, I'll cry. Oh what a mess I am. It's embarrassing people think after 8 months, your over it, go on with life. I even had a receptionist ask me when my husband died. I said 7 months ago and then she said, "Oh it's not fresh you have had time to heal" I can't type what I wanted to say to her but I just ignored her. I'm lost just plain lost. I want to find me again. I want to be happy. I want to enjoy what life I have left. I don't know how. How do I go on without the love of my life. To me without him is just sad and empty. Just shaking my head because I'm at a loss as to what to type. Going to try to watch some TV. I hope anyone reading this is doing better then they were. I wish you happiness. Linda

Linda,
These people have no idea what we are going through. Emma passed away Nov \'08. I still, at times, want to cry. I have to give you credit, I would have told her, in no uncertain terms, to keep her opinions to herself. My language would have been a bit more colorful that what I am writing here.
Tell you what I avoid on TV. Emma loved the murder mysteries. Shoot \'em up TV programs. I don\'t watch these. I watch comedy, nasty comedy, science programs and documentaries. Programs like Two and a Half Men or Mike & Molly are on my agenda. All I can tell you is what helped/worked for me. Everyone is different. Ever try going to a movie theater. Believe it or not I went to see Cinderella and loved it. Seems as a kid Disney slipped some details by. Know how Cinderella got her name?
Now I am rambling. Time to go. Take care.
