June horrors
Its June 19th and its been the roughest month in a long time. I mean I've had some pretty crappy months before but this one has to be hands down the worst....and its only half over. Mom had open heart surgery on the 5th. She lives in FL and I in NY. I drove 20 hours to be with her to take care of dad while she was in the hospital. Dad and I fought for 10 days. We may never speak to each other again. Mom is still in the hospital and doing so-so. I cried many, many tears while I was away. I was lonely, stressed and depressed. Dad didn't appreciate me being there. He was a total jerk. Mom was grateful that I came down..I am too....for her. Yesterday my wife was admitted to a hospital. She was having severe pain in her abdomen. It was discovered that it was due to her diabetes. Her blood sugar was extremely high. We've been married 12 years and this is the first time I've spent the night alone here. I woke this morning with a huge headache. I have been asking myself if this punishment for turning my back on Heavenly Father.

I\'m sure that wasn\'t punishment from God. If you can, look up the passage on the Prodigal Son and you\'ll see what I mean. Take care.
I agree, God isn\'t punishing you, He wants you to turn back to Him. I\'m praying for all of you.
