June

The last few days were sooo bad - I was at my lowest point - really wished I was dead and crying constantly.  Felt so alone.  Last day of work was Friday - had no one to call as I left the building.  I used to call Pat.  My sister's B-day was Friday and I called to wish her a happy b-day and she never called back.  She hasn't called me since Pat died.  Friends were all out having fun of their own.  My kids were out with friends and my oldest son, as usual, spending all his time in Indiana.  Life seemed so hopeless, lonely with one problem after another.
Then Monday finally came.  Went to my sons' community college to turn in more financial aide stuff and learned both my kids will be getting a grant of $750 for each semester.  We have never gotten any grants before but they said Obama just recently significantly increased federal grant money.  Tuition is only about $1200 a semester so that doesn't leave much for us to pay.  Came home and had a check in the mail for $720 from my insurance co for - overpayment.  Don't really understand that but I'll take it.  Just got my taxes recently and the gov't gave me an additional $2500 more than I'd expected.  I've done my taxes for 35 years and felt I knew what I was doing - even after getting their letter still don't know why I'm getting so much back, but once again won't question it.  Are things starting to turn around?  Now all I need is my old job.  My how things can turn around in a day.  Still - I miss you Pat - we think of you ALL the time.  Hope you know we appreciate you more every day - what a great guy you were/are.

Really glad, things are turning around for you - it all takes time, and I guess time is one thing we all have more of. So glad your getting help with kids college tuition. Hang in there, things are bound to come around for you. Remember, there is always sun after the storm. Wishing you a \"good\" week.

Things in life are tentative aren\'t they...it changes in a split second..........while I don\'t mind being alone..it is the lonliness that gets me...........sounds weird but I know what I mean....lol............just bites when time to go to bed or get up and I remember ....another day without him at all in my life physically............I hate this........up and down , up and down...........at least there are a few up times..........you got \"blkessed\"....and are right.accept and thank......and we go on..........
