Journey of a Downcast Soul

Throught the looking glass I see her face.
She's in a dark & lonely place.
Other near don't seem to care,
For they have their own cross to bear.
From different walks of life they came,
But now they suffer all the same.
Atatered Bible she kept near,
And it alone could calm her fear.
With Promises of Hope & love Divine,
And the joyus words "Peace Be Thine"

From year to year she struggled on,
The family she had now was gone.
To sick to be left on her own,
An instutition was her home.
She sat below a willow tree,
A blue eyed child upon her knee.
And thought of things now long past,
Of sweet red roses that didn't last.
Of lily & viloet & lilac blooms,
Of children's laughter throught the rooms.

Her life was filled with deep despair,
As she whispered one last prayer.
"Remove this yoke Father please",
She cried on weary bended knees.
"Take me home I beg of You,
Open the and let me through,
Let me go to the Garden of Prayer,
So I may spend Eternity there.
Ever grateful a christian to be,
Jesus Savior rescue me".
Dedicated to my Grandmother EMV whose life was stolen, whose freedom was sold, whose body was violated & whose soul was totured by cruel toxic shock treatments but they could not invade her heart for that was were Jesus dwelt.
