Journaling - Hard Copy
I got this awesome journal 2 years ago and filled it in three months. What I loved about it is that the pages are not stark white! They are faded ivory/yellowish whatever you would call it and there's light sepia patterns in the background. And, not all the pages are identical - they vary. I'm sure it repeats every so often, but not every page looks exactly the same.
I hate the white pages of a new journal. I have a journal I've been in for 10 months, but I hardly ever right cuz it's so WHITE. I don't want to dirty those pure pages with my problems. I've looked for another journal like it and never found one. I could just get the same one again - but that could get confusing.
So, I went to Hobby Lobby wondering if I could find paper perhaps in the scrapbooking section that I could make a journal out of, and ending up finding some journals with faded pages. Each page is the same, throughout the journal, though. So I got a set of swirly stamps and a stamp pad, and went through stamping all the pages so the pages would vary. Finally, I'm set to start journaling again! Meanwhile, I pulled out my calligraphy pen collections and may use those for journaling.
So, with this new journal, I may not be leaning on web journaling/blogging as much. But, I will certainly continue posting here!
