My profiles pretty much explain where I'm at--a 43 year old gay latin male currently diagnosed with a prolactinoma.  The meds seem to be working, thank goodness.  There have been some side effects, though.  Mostly grogginess.  I'd like to connect with any other gay men (the gay friendly are welcome too!) out there experiencing similar struggles.  I'm finding it difficult at my stage of life to extend myself back into the gay world.  I went through all that in my 20s--bars, partying, etc.  It was fun while it lastest, but I eventually tired of the whole thing.  It felt like a merry go round to nowhere after a while.  Plus, it just started to feel really desperate going to clubs by myself in my 30s, so I'm afraid I withdrew into my shell after a while.  But I'm looking to make some meaningful connections.  I'm on some dating sites but my experiences so far (about six or seven months) have been somewhat disappointing.  Lots of flakes.  I get attention but little follow through.  I'm told I'm good looking, but I do feel the clock is ticking on that.  I'd like to meet someone special before I die.
