JOKES/PHOTO love these, from "living with animals" on facebook//

lol.

LOL!

these are from the facebook site "living with animals".

i think the problem with facebook as well, is its emotional overload.  are we really supposed to know all this stuff about HUNDREDS of people we know or once knew?  its too much.  so a guy i haven't seen in several years just had a baby with his much younger girlfriend.  hmmm.  now i want to know what is actually going on, but i think i'll sleep on it.  reminds me of tm, his is 20 years younger (i thought it was 15 years until just recently, another shock.  lol.)  this other guy, all his girlfriends used to be a few years older.  life is weird.  life takes you all over the place and even though i'm one of those people who has lists and goals and checks off the goals as you go along and collects certificates and diplomas and enters competitions and all that, all the people-i-know stuff, is NEVER what i expect at all.  what a shock.  its like:   just hit me again.

so i just got a jolt watching the mass exodus of people as their last kid or only kid finishes highschool, so they run for it lots of people posting "divorced" or "separated" and "moving" etc.  lol.  not really funny though.  and now here is the hold out, finally has a kid.  hmmmm.  this guy was drop dead gorgeous though.  he still is, but he's like 45 now.  i'd be exhausted at 45 and a first baby?  omg!  best of luck.

and still the same as well, he liked making money, but the duality thing of living off the grid and a fascination with survivalism, which is cool.  so many with the same "likes" on facebook.

nothing going on.  slow at work.  yay!  cold outside, around 62 during the day and 40's at night.  i noticed with it in the 40's the green heater is perfect.  pretty much the same everywhere in the house as when i used central, except a fraction of the cost.  but when the temperature outside is in the 30's you need TWO heaters or its nippy.  i also like that its quieter living green.  wonder what its like to live amish?   i think the quiet is another reason people end up prefering cats over dogs as they get older.   your ear physically changes as you get older and noise really sucks.

everyone is still getting sick from the cold weather, even the animals.  two will get better, and then another two will be sniffling and coughing.  have no idea who will be around this weekend, if anyone.  weird to live like that.  it used to be full house, just a few years ago.  ditto at k's.  and no desire to change it.  even pl isn't back.  he can come back of course, but k walks around with this little smile most of the time, no intention of reeling anyone in either.  "go placidly amongst the noise and haste, but remember what peace there is in silence" excerpted from desiderada.

when i got rid of tv at the house down south, after a year of really getting off the tv-addiction i noticed, it was a destressor NOT to have it and you get more done without it.  now i'm wondering if getting rid of internet is the way to go, there is wifi EVERYWHERE now, so why have it at home where a person is tempted to stay on it 24/7?  that is what the kids do.  even br pulls out his android ALL THE TIME!  i couldn't believe it.

I\'m still fighting coming into the 21st century. I have a cell phone! That\'s it! I do NOT want a Blackberry, or a smart phone, or an iPhone...NOPE! I use my brain. I memorize phone numbers. I will not plan my day with a device. I use my brain. I swear our g/kids will never know what a number two pencil is, and it makes me sick. I think we are becoming a weaker nation by having our children so into technology, that all common sense is lost! They need to be taught to THINK, not compute!

Ok, off soapbox now. Sometimes I just have ta spit it out!

PS. agreed! FB is overload! I won\'t have anything to do with that either! Puh!

Wow, Loved the pictures but I never heard about this handwriting skills stopped. I am so shocked to hear this.

I agree with you and the noise limit. I found as I have gotten older, I too do not like the music so loud. Even Richard, I yell when the TV is too loud.

Warming up here finally. Time to work a bit outdoors this weekend. Have an awesome one. Love U

nice here in the afternoon, but only in the sun, still in the 60\'s.

the guy, its not as bad as stated, she\'s eleven years younger than him. his sister also got married just recently, after two kids. lol. starting in 2000. i probably knew this, in fact i had to have known it, he was here visiting in 2001. lol. its just too much to digest, especially because my mail gets stolen a lot. always has. photographs as well. eventually you give up. i never understood that that is a common crime until college, not just because it happens in college but in criminal justice class they mentioned common crimes as mail theft, fires, poisoning, and it used to be until they made it a death penalty crime, kidnapping. what a fucked up world we live in. WHY would anyone want anyone\'s mail, besides the obvious looking for paychecks etc. nowadays i would guess identity theft. the best way to thwart a theif is to have bad credit. lol.

then i read on. and his sisterinlaw is talking about the same thing, the huge number of people divorcing. i wonder if its also the economy doing that. small world and people discussing and experiencing and observing the same things even when not around each other. his sister is working for an airline, which is amazing because she is almost 6 feet tall and way too old. don\'t they have restrictions for all of that? they used to. have to look it up.

Funny with the animals!!

I am not on Facebook and people ask me all the time to join but I do not want another site that I can\'t keep up with. :-) I\'m told it\'s very addicting once you get started with it and I don\'t have the time. Nor do I feel the need for the whole world to know my business. It\'s amazing what people post on FB.

I think electronics are great (some of the time) but I keep resisting all the latest gadgets. My phone is older and I turned off my texting capabilities. It can be a problem with my work as everyone texts instead of talks. My hubby\'s new phone has helped with his job as he can email in order\'s for materials when he is on the job.

I wonder what is going to happen when our newest generation is going to do if the power ever goes out and they have to actually remember a phone number or add two number\'s together. And what are they going to do if they ever have to \"sign\" a document? Will they print??

Wishing you a great weekend and hope the weather warms up.
xoxo

blood pressure and stress levels go waaaay down from unplugging yourself. it took about a year to get used to no tv at home. still watch it elsewhere, but its gone for good by me. yay! never realized that kind of thing is an addiction.

i agree about the cursive thing. and the math skills. technology has gone too far actually, its debilitating people. or is that what \"they\" want?
