JOKE: smart/dumb//car fixed thermostat//ran into mary//book sale

JOKE:Smart man + Smart Woman = RomanceSmart Man + Dumb Woman = PregnancyDumb Man + Smart Woman = AffairDumb Man + Dumb Woman = Marriage

having a very long day in a good way, but i'm tired.  stayed at richard's mobile and relaxed.  didn't get home until 2:00 p.m. today.  my neck hurts because i fell asleep on the loveseat.  for some reason i fall asleep on loveseats ANYWHERE.
my car radiator has been acting odd.  the overflow is empty very quickly after i fill it and you can smell the antifreeze.  w came over yesterday and checked it and said the fan wasn't going on.  we were putting the heater on for that and i found out, its the a/c you are supposed to put on for the fan by the radiator.  surprised w didn't know that, he really is into ANYTHING mechanical.
w finished the stucco on the bathroom addition to the back of his house and i went over to see that.  he noticed tora dora is now outside and i told him big died.  w thinks bacteria from a raccoon killed big.  he says the raccoon bit big.  i said i never found teethmarks and w never explained that it was definitely big that was attacked.  w was sick recently and so was i.  he said he threw a mat at the racoons to get rid of them.  if it was a bacterial infection i have antibiotics for that.  so easy to treat!  i didn't know though.  he never went into the story until now.  but i don't see him as much lately and when i do we go through a few hours of catch up conversation.  i'm still at the shock stage where i keep looking for big and kicking myself over it.  i still think parasites could do it, but bacterial could too.  i have meds for both here!
anyway, i had to feed br's colony so i filled up the radiator and overflow with water and headed south to br's house to feed and ran into mary while there.  she's doing better financially so she was friendlier.  but that whole situation is odd.  they drink.  she's generally rude to her live-in guy (people think its her husband but they are living-together-only for fifteen years).  she's doing something with videos that high school kids send in when applying for college.  she told me about this a year ago (when broke).  she says she's making $3000 per month and its on line work.  hmmmm?
she's also dying to get back to real estate and i told her mortgage insurance sells MORE than mortgages going through.  she thinks its all going to straighten out.  i don't.  i think we are in this for another five years.  i think she still drinking though.  she was in br's driveway, all the way up by the garage and when i came out of br's yard from feeding the animals.   i thought she was a man, and she says hi.  i actually jumped.  wth?  what is she doing all the way up by the garage in br's driveway?   and in the shadows instead of the light?  i was really tired and didn't stay to talk very long.  hmmm.  br "annoys" her because she says he's the man on the block with all the bucks.  so what.   now that she is doing well again, she wants to talk to him.  she was avoiding him last year after he got back.  who knows....
i checked his aloe plant which needs replanting into a larger pot and headed for richard's.  instead of the mom and pop (avoiding that place at the moment).  went to a sub place.  excellent subs, but its still processed food.  mom and pops are better quality.   and other errands.  headed to richards for a long soak.  ran into people over there.  just normal chit chat and fell asleep.  woke up about 4 a.m.  and figured i'll nap to 6 a.m. and head to the mechanic rather than risk extra driving.  instead i woke up at 8 a.m.  lol.  they fixed the thermastat very cheap.  i'm thrilled and hopefully that is it.  $58.00 total.
headed out for a library sale and got some deals:    a german book for el, a kid book for ch, a couple of pop books for mr (the rest are for me) it was a bag sale $1 per bag.  can't go wrong.  didn't get to my office until after 3 and discovered two people are sick up here.  very long day.  and then the dump-on-me of here are the zillion things going on in the office.  when the former supervisor used to whine about the crap going on i used to ignore him and was like, why are you telling me?  not my problem, i never even THOUGHT ABOUT work after i left for the day back then.  now i do the same griping thing that he did.

You must be a animal lover like me. They need all the help they can get these days. May I ask where you are in FL? I used to live in N Fort Myers. How I miss it and the warmer weather.
Take care

Loved the joke!

Sounds like you are very busy all the time. I wish I had your ability to fall asleep so easily.....anywhere on a loveseat. :-)

I hope the real estate market will turn around. I hope it\'s not another five years. Things are really slow here and I\'m not selling much these days. :-(

What a super deal on the bag of books for a dollar! You can only get one at the Dollar Store. lol.

Hugs!

i\'m in north florida.

i haven\'t looked up what she is doing now. reviewing videos for college applicants, how hard can that be? if there is really money in it. i used to be a court reporter and they are BEGGING the former court reporters to convert to real time to do closed captioning. it starts at $75,000 per year and then goes up to $100,000. it can also be done at HOME? wow, what a different world. i used to work in court as a court reporter and wanted to work for UNITED STATES CONGRESS the one on tv. that job paid around $100,000 back in the 80\'s so my guess is it would be around $300,000 nowadays. very high stress work. you could also do it five months out of the year over the summer and vacation breaks for half salary and that is what interested me the most. the main reason i left reporting is the amount of corruption that goes on. wonder if it still does if its real time? doing the stuff for movies and newsreels would probably be very low stress. never expected to see that. when i went into it, all of the speakers that came to our school told us to expect to retire from trial or depo work by the age of 40 or we\'d end up having a heart attack from it. amazing how things change over time.

A court person eh? WOW, that is good money! Goodness, when we look back over our lives and the things we\'ve done...sheesh! Some of it is wonderful and led us forward, some of it, well, we\'re lucky it didn\'t kill us!!

Glad the car problem was the thermostat and you were able to get it fixed for a really reasonable price! WOOT!

I see you\'re busy at work! That\'s the thing I miss the most about my job. How quickly the day went, and I loved the socialization too! I\'m happy that you love what you do. And the real estate guess at five years? I\'d say my real estate friends would agree with you 100%!!

no, i don\'t love what i do at all. lol. i like it enough to be here. i have to read up on the thing at end of life what to leave behind. some of it is cake and quiet and other things, no. photography was more fun, but its hectic and i don\'t want to deal with a lot of different people right now. its a been there done that. court work was good but high pressure. this real time thing is tempting, simply because mortgages haven\'t turned around.

i just realized, you still think my hobby is my job. no. its a hobby the animals. no money at all, i put out money. i make money on mortgages. the next hobby is probably going to be kitesurfing and the animal thing will be pure donations and possibly sanctuary. i can tell. nine years is my max for just about everything.
