JOKE/PHOTO: There, there, ugly bald puppy ....
w bought a LAND ROVER. it cost him $51,000 at auction, way south west of here in Sanford. He says he cashed in all of his Home Depot stock 14,000 shares at $80 per share, so he now has $900,000 sitting in the bank. The stock was making him nervous. He'd show up every night and turn on the tv to check on it. It was ruining his life. He is the only person i know who actually stayed afloat with stock, everyone else, lost their shirt.
We were standing outside talking and then i realized we are probably making as much noise as the crazy-ass foreign girl. he's also mad about someone down the road and the son of the house across the lane. this street was best when NO ONE was living here. it was nice and quiet like that for two years from 2010 to 2012 and then it slowly built up to this.
m is living on avondale, that came up because of mail and because m's father, also didn't lose during this mess. he had sold small motels that he bought when m was a kid. the way that is going is m is the sole inheritor and his older brother gets nothing because they have had to pay for his older brother his entire life so they are done, or so they claim. i think his brother can contest it?
the court thing never happened, i think because they had the wrong YEAR on the date. so that is still in the future. all i hear is all different stories about it. there is soooo much of that with real estate now. but purchasing houses like that isn't easy either and the wrong people (investors) are the ones getting those deals. unfortunately.
c's mother needs to do a refi using obamas plan for upsidedown mortgages, and we haven't done any of those. she does medical billing for a living so her credit should be decent. she bought for twice the value price in 2004, then it went up to the same value she bought for and now its back down. if she does one of those 10 or even 15 year mortgages at 3 percent she could well with it - but have no idea how that goes. ideally she should sell it if the market ever improves.
the mercedes c-class kompressor is still for sale. i went back to looking at that. rn says i need to get real and get an suv, which i really don't want. she isn't speaking to her sister in texas for some reason, but almost afraid to ask. i think she is going through menopause or just gets whacko because she doesn't take blood pressure medicine - i know i get like that when my blood pressure is up. i brought her breads (and then discovered pepperidge farm is also gmo, i didn't know that. we are allll eating poison. i feel better just from not drinking tap water with fluoride in it and avoiding gmo foods as much as i can. can't believe the government here is poisoning us. omg!) juice, and biscotti. the acid bothers her so she can't have a lot of it. i know grapefruit juice is bad for a lot of meds as well.
went shopping with a. picked up ruby red and meant to get ribeyes for the holiday and didn't. did get crab strips and fish which is a smarter choice anyway. surprised burgers made me ill and chicken hot dogs didn't. its the cholesterol that is the big problem. bought bistro pink feeders for the animals finally. as always need to pick up more supplies. they will use the dry food feeder, but not the water one, so that was a waste. no idea why. they like a small basin full of water, i think the depth and the larger size keep the water colder. started the ones with skin disorders on ivermectin. hope it helps. i hear that is allergy and they will get it yearly?
i said to r's neighbor, if she is going back to nursing and making $18 per hour she can pick me up juice next time. she says, no she is seeing how little she can live on and what is out there. she is never going back. the look on her face says it all. told her about the $79 antenna from ace hardware, you get 33 channels and its a one time fee. or the $10 rabbit for cable into the computer, but i haven't tried that yet. why waste $120 per month on cable and then complain about bills.
i have stopped eating almost all boxed food (mostly frozen foods) i was getting numb spots on my nose and lip from them. i know that is cholesterol and its a warning of stroke. what a year this year is. i'm also back on potassium big time, or i get dizzy spells. don't seem to be able to eat much red meat either, the same thing happens, though i've been a vegetarian on and off for decades and red meat is the worst thing anyway.
nothing else. boring day. rain on and off. went to the marina with a. bought beauty supplies. hung out on the deck during the part of the day that was clear. still haven't looked up transnavigational sailing. so weird that people are planning their final adventures before regular retirement. old age creeps up on you.
