"The moment you hear a weird noise in the house and you're so lazy you think,
"Meh .... whatever, I had a good run."
i never realized there are actual "reasons" people are screwy healthwise, but its not always just age. what i used to see way back, the people were in their 20's or even 30's when they were doing all this stuff to get by and be healthy. i never understood it at all, because i always had a lot of good health, especially after living in south florida where the climate was good for me. too bad there are so many stalkers and criminals in general down there. the good ones outnumber the bad, but since there are so many people, there is more of everything, including the bad. and the more well known you are, went through that my whole life, and would have no matter where i lived, the more that crap happens anyway. so then you just need to make sure your inner circle is completely safe, which it never is. people in general are trouble. the less people in your life, the safer it is.
the vitamin thing.
some people are devoted to vitamins. you kind of wonder why.
i always liked vitamins. but even in my early 20's and late teens, i knew people who were over the top with vitamins and vitamin shakes, which totally amazed me. then i knew people that age and 30-ish because of cr school and church and spas and gyms, who SERIOUSLY took vitamins, like couldn't survive in a healthy way without them (i'm one of those people now - but its all from old age kind of health. lol. but i'm a LOT older than the people i knew who were like this back then -- like TWICE their age or more. its surprising when this actually happens and it dawns on you, omg, i'm one of those vitamin people now, who rely on vitamins to survive properly. how did this happen? but can't complain since i'm way over 20 or 30 and its NOW that this is happening.
takes longer to wake up
i remember the first time someone "young" said that to me, it was ken from dance at arthur murray dance studio. i had no idea at all what he was talking about. he was about 29 at the time and he claimed he was having a hard time waking up and it took him longer to get up and get going every day and everyone was laughing at him. he wasn't the oldest dance teacher there, but he was one of the oldest. when you hear that stuff when you are young its very confusing - because its so far removed from anything in your own life.
i have that now.
but all of it may be because of my hemoglobin being low. i won't know if my body is to that point yet until i'm a normal weight again and my hemoglobin is normal again. its weird that all this stuff happens, but so many people it happens so much younger than it is happening to me. and ken was in good shape, he was a dance teacher.
pace myself, one thing and too much stress
my entire life, especially in offices people would advise "pacing oneself". i never understood it at all. i always did things until i dropped. then i'd nap or go to sleep. well, can't do that anymore at all. if i stress from doing too much my blood pressure goes up. i actually HAVE to pace myself. i actually have to prioritize what i'm getting done inside and outside my office. if its more than two personal things i generally feel its too much. so strange. then other days, i'm me again, especially if its before i take my blood pressure medicine and i can get so much done, i'd be embarrassed to even write it all as one day because it would be odd compared to other people. boy, do i miss being that girl.
doctor's appointments
ken was also the first person i noticed with doctor appointments. i had seen that with adults, but adults are always different from people your own age. he must have had anemia or diabetes or something to have all that crap going on at 29. and he was DREADING turning 30, he was one of the first people i met that decided to choose birthdays in reverse, like next year he'll be 28. he was pretty funny. i think his fatigue scared him though. never followed through with those people except the owners so no idea what happened to him. don't even remember his last name, though i used to know it. i remember jackies, only because she switched studios and was trying to recruit me to her other studio for about ten years after that. the studio she went to was paying a flat $15 per hour and commission, but the commission was smaller and that was in the early 80's. by '92 it was over $20 per hour. she was happy there. it was only for am certified instructors. you have to make that clear with people because every riff raff under the sun will try to show up to work there. must be very tiring doing human resources because i know that kind of thing happens everywhere. WHY do people do that? seriously. if you can't really do whatever it is, WHY show up. why not go to school for it first. get a real certificate and THEN try to do it for a living.
reminds me of cr stuff in florida in the 80's. they were allowing cameras in the courtroom and putting together shows using it. they were sending models to cr school to use on the shows and the models had to also have speaking end of modelling (spokes person) and improv. not an easy role to fill. the models who were being encouraged to try for cr school were generally around age 17 or 18 and were warned it takes 3 years to become a certified cr reporter with a 75% drop out rate at the schools. so in 3 years they hoped to have at least several model-cr's to help with the show as needed who'd be around age 22 by that time (figuring a year or more of experience by the time they start - a perfect age for it). when other cr's found this out, they somehow got the idea that the cr's were being converted into tv models and the 30 and 40 year old cr's would be recruited. hmmmm how in the world do you get this idea from that. they were also recruiting from the theatre-arts division of the modelling schools. i don't think the ordinary cr's even knew what that was. wth? bda was one of them. she was 30 and told her mother, she would be a movie star soon from doing cr. she was SERIOUS and she thought this because of the cameras in the courtroom and the show which she had never been offered. thousands of cr's applied for that show WITH proper experience, WHY in the world did she think she would get this? bda had bipolar. she thought all kinds of crazy things allll the time. she wasn't even the right weight to be on there. and the improv part was the most difficult even for the people that had the whole thing. bda didn't have ANY of it. later on we found out she didn't even have the cr part and was sued by the courthouse and the county and the state and later on by the state of new york where she committed the same fraud again. so sick and so sad, and WHY do that. wouldn't she rather do something that she can actually do. so she says, she can't actually DO anything. she never did any of the stuff you do starting in 9th grade to ready yourself for skills and professions in life. what was worse is her mother would sabotage her when she attempted to get that done. so she had to take 9th grade typing in nyc where she could take a bus to get there, so that even if her mother attempted sabotage she could still get to her school. her brother went through the same thing with their mother. it makes no sense, no one harassed her when she attended college. she had also done the same thing to her sister when she enrolled in school, so the whole sabotage thing was going on in that family for close to 50 years at the time all this was happening. sick. people had always blamed bda, but she was actually just doing her mother's dirty work. and its like, never occurred to you, bda, NOT to do that? you're so old, to be copying your mother's bad behavior (but never copied any of her mother's good behavior). when her mother harassed producers about the show urging them to hire her daughter, they were like get your own funding, your own million dollar loan and produce your own show, why tell us about it?
even if i had known about ken, if it was something serious i'd probably block it out anyway. i do that.
meds poly meds
i'm actually on meds just like all the old "adult" people i knew and some of the young ones. sva was on meds for diabetes. i never quite understood that back then. she was only 26. wow. but most adults were on pills. and when i had chronic bronchitis or allergies i had meds if i took them. but i never had this daily thing of meds that i have now, where i can't get by without it. if you have high blood pressure you get very dizzy without it. that's how you know you better get a pill soon, don't even need a clock except to make sure. nice to be off statins though, those did more harm than good. i take the vitamin version of it and i do better with that. glad i never started taking the statins earlier or the aspirin which totally screwed up my stomach.

I don\'t know how to comment. All I see is an M. :-)
if that meme were jm from college, he would do that even when he was 22, but he would SAY he checked it out. wth? he\'s another one who is a \"doctor\" now, pretty scary. he\'s also the same one who \"freezes\" if someone has a seizure and screws up all instructions to prevent the seizure -- or let\'s be honest -- freezes and lies in alllll emergencies and people were soooo angry and wanted him thrown out of the science program and later on thrown out of medical school and later still thrown out of the hospital he interned at, yet, there he is, still there and a doctor anyway and then they wonder why there is so much corruption and crime in usa, more than other civilized countries. hmmmm. wonder.
his father said it the whole time, when he only borderlined his mcat\'s and hired a detective to get a copy of the test in advance and planned to do the same for the medical boards. and his father is like, if you can\'t do it than just do something else that isn\'t as extreme as medical school. he got into osteopath school right away, so do that, at least its honestly YOU. hmmm. his father mysteriously DIED when jm DID get into medical school and they needed cash for school. hmmmm. jm and his klepto crooked mother, wonder what really happened. seriously. bet his father was cremated so no one would ever be able to find out.
