JOKE: I've been single for awhile...its going well//PHOTO - Recipe - sprite cake
JOKE:
"I've been single for awhile and I have to say its going very well.
Like, its working out.
I think I'm the one."
SPRITE FRUIT CAKE aka EASY 3-STEP COBBLER:
This lightened up version of cobbler has just three ingredients.
For a crowd, use a 9"x13" pan.
For a small family dinner use an 8"x8" pan and only half the cake mix; save the other half for another use.
Ingredients: -2 bags (12oz each) frozen mixed berries or peaches -1 box white cake mix (with no pudding in mix) ... -12 ounces clear soda (diet soda works), e.g., Sprite, 7-Up, Sierra Mist, Lemon Lime
Dump bags of frozen fruit in the bottom of a baking dish.
Spread dry cake mix over top of the fruit.
Break up any large clumps.
Pour soda slowly over top of cake mix.
Do not stir or mix.
Make sure soda covers all cake mix. If there is any dry cake mix when you put it in the oven, it will still be dry when it comes out.
TIP: You can pour soda over the top and swirl bowl around a bit to make sure the soda covers completely. Then take a spoon and push remaining dry clumps underneath the soda. Also be sure to break up clumps of cake mix before you pour soda over top.
