JOKE as stated by the dog: One day that mailman ...//HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2016!!!

JOKE as stated by the dog:  "One day that mailman is going to murder all of you, and I'll be like who needs to quit their barking and go lie down now?"

sitting around listening to Trans-Syberian Orchestra Christmas Canon.  LOVE that song.  and putting off watching "Malice in Wonderland" from christmas.   my brothers were up, (they are actually the batch that are cousins formerly of pensacola in the 70's and most of the 80's).  They aren't around much so nice to see them, but it has to be something serious if they are here, they never visit their mum for many valid reasons.  She is only in touch with her youngest son and used to be, her older brother and father, all gone now.  odd how life re-molds things according to who is around.  amazing how strong they became or independent i guess once they got far away from them.  and suzanne of all people, since 1995 when she "figured" out what is what, amazing you "figure things out" when you are over 40, but not before that.   i don't get that.  there are legal documents sitting there that can be read any time, but it takes that long.  holidays, always all the crap when a holiday hits.  all the whisperings.  she could be worse.  she could be any form of criminal and she isn't as far as i know.  just obtuse.  there are tons of criminals around, whether they are convicted as a criminal, or not doesn't matter, if you commit crime you are a criminal.  all people should take six months of police science somewhere around 7th grade, so they realize those nasty people they know (or perhaps are themselves?) are actually criminals who haven't gone to jail yet and NONE of what they do is "legal".

There is a new show on life called, "my crazy ex".  excellent.  boy is that a comfort.  amazing how completely rotten a LOT of people are.  they have the victim of the "ex" narrating and then they have it acted out by actors.  unreal!   got home way too late, close to 5 a.m.  walked el through payroll and then received a note that he sent it in wrong the first time.  this is the one insisting he was a warehouse supervisor for 30 years and knows allllll office stuff.  hmmmm.  maybe not OR maybe it is time to retire.  he acts rashly a LOT and is one of those who has started making a huge number of errors in the last year.  surprising what age or illness, or alcohol or pain killers?  does, i'm not sure which it is, but none of those belong in an office environment.  check your work before you send it.  so i called our main office to make sure it went through properly.  its friggin PAYROLL!!  he didn't even voicemail me the night before so i would know to call the office first thing in the a.m.  wth?   the woman says, he probably doesn't care because its not his own hours that he screwed up.  grrrrr.  i would think he would care MORE, when it someone else's!

louna is two months as of the 28th, and i keep saying first grandchild from first husband.  and then i have to bite my tongue because its not, and if f was sitting here it would be bitter and something else she could add to a list of resentment, i guess.     its the first one being raised far away by her own parents that are married.  i said this to p and she cracked up.  but at least i figured out why i keep saying it.  our life in europe is so complicated because there is so many of us over there, way more than here - and even here, when everyone is visiting its still a lot of people, especially in mississippi.
headed down to the marina.  we still have weather in the 80's.  yay!  it is supposed to get cold over the weekend and then warm up again.  love that we are having a south florida winter so far.   put ana the cat on antibiotics with interferon in it.  hope that clears up her perpetual cold.  rn has one like this as well and nothing seems to get rid of it.  i'm still sick myself, so can't figure if this was cold or flu and totally dragging.  grrrr.  its lasted just over a week.

The heat index down here in Miami today was 90. Yesterday it was 93. This is not winter, it\'s summer lol. I was walking by the pool today and wanted to jump in. I think making people take a class about dangerous things to look out for is a good idea. *hugs* Happy and healthy New Year to you!

Very interesting journal! We had 75 degrees last Sunday and this week the overnight low will be in 20s. Crazy pneumonia weather!
I wish you the best of everything in 2016.

I never could imagine living in a place that did not get snow. Now that I am 52, I would love it. I hope the antibiotics help the cat,and she feels better.

a lot of people say that annie, and then they move further south and wish they had moved to a warm climate early on. live and learn. when i was looking into colleges i also bought a book on where to \"retire\" in the sunbelt and all the info about those areas. lol. someone famous said, a person should start planning their retirement no later than age 13. probably true. lol.
