Joining a fraternity

Holy lord, I don't wanna sound cliche, but joingin a fraternity was the best thing that ever happened to me, social skills wise. I had slowy been growing and growing into myself as I became older, but when I joined the fraternity I absolutley became a completley different person, unequivocally for the better. I was able to refine my personality, to sculpt it into what it was meant to be. This isn't an endorsement for greek life as a catch all solution to being socially awkward; it isn't for everyone. It was, however, for me. For the time I was in it, anyway. I could go on and on about who greek life is for and why, but that's not what I'm what talking about here. I left. The experiences that I had with my fraternity, and the rest of the greek life community, were incredibly influential. But I was young. I wasn't even old enough to drink yet when I left. It's definitely not the best influence, but it really incouraged me to be social and grow into myself.
