Joe is home!
It has been quite the week. We brought Joe home this afternoon. He is doing really well, just a bit tired and a bit of a scratchy throat.
We are both happy to have him home. Him because nobody likes the hospital, and me because I was getting sick and tired of going to the hospital every day. I have so much more empathy for the spouses who visited daily in the nursing homes!
Thank you all once a gain for the love and prayers.
Lisa: I felt you there. I am selfish - I want your dad here for a while longer. I know you were with us in the hospital. I miss you always and love you forever, Mum

So glad you and Joe are home! Doing a 5 month stretch at visiting Mom in the care home every day gave me a healthy respect for the spouses as well. Which sadly leads to a sense of relief when the daily journey doesn\'t have to be taken any longer.
Please tell Joe to get well and rather soon please. It\'s April tomorrow!
love you
Merrilee
A hospital is no place to be sick! You need comfort, soft pillows, good food, and good TV/music. No place like one\'s own bed. Mine has a nice indentation where I sleep. Hospitals are dangerous and exhausting. Glad you\'re both back. Love, Abby
So glad he is home now. What a scary thing to happen.
Time to start planning your next trip Marlene.
So glad he is home, wishing him a speedy recovery. Hugs to LISA for being there with you.
