Job's Easy; Certain People Make it Complicated

I like the post commander, Rolf.  He's a calm, methodical type who lays out the groundwork for me and puts me at ease, instills in me a certain confidence.  Neil, this other fat fuck that came in to relieve me at 11pm, proceeds to bitch about a horrible accident on I-95 and there are bodies sprawled all over the road with people working on them, then proceeds to bust my balls about every little detail he found wrong in the way I filled out the daily log, when I was only doing what I was instructed by Rolf.  He proceeds to tell me "Rolf's not going to be here much longer", which confirms Rolf's story that Neil and two other people have been trying to get him fired for years.  I really hope that's not the case.  I hope fat fuck Neil is the one who gets fired, because he's hot-headed, belligerent, and if this company fires Rolf, who has done a great job setting up a computer database so we can see everything on a screen, I'm going to quit this company, because there's no justic there and they're a bunch of fuck-head idiots.
At post headquarters, they're trying to determine a permanent part-time shift for me, and I really hope it's the graveyard.  I want to deal with people, at least co-workers, as little as possible (the residents are very nice).  Still debating whether this career is right for me, because it's an awful lot of liability for the little money they're paying me; I mean, if I sign out keys, I can be sued.  If I forget to close a shade, I can be fined thousands of dollars.  If I get called to testify in court that a crime has committed, a lawyer can rip me a new one if the time on my log doesn't jive with other witnesses.  WTF?  For the lousy $10 an hour they're paying me?  Forget it.  But I need the money right now, and this job part-time, in between higher-paying free-lance assignments, will be tolerable, with this fat, belligerent fuck Neil out of the picture.
