Job hunting with mood swings

I felt "good" for the first time in a long time 2 days ago. Then yesterday I felt "bad." I am diagnosed with Bipolar II, I'm used to mood swings, but they are still difficult. Today, I feel "ok" which is better.
I am in the interviewing stage looking for a job. it makes my head swim, keeping all the details and names straight. I was afraid that I applied to the same job through two different recruiters, I panicked, and checked my emails, but I didn't. I saw the WebMD job listed on a job board; I applied online even though I talked to a recruiter about it last week. Usually I would not do that, but the recruiter said he has not heard anything from WebMD. Immediately I got an email from the internal HR person to set up a phone call. He said he has never heard of the recruiter, never spoken with him (that happens sometimes, a recruiter is trying to get his foot in the door too). So it's funny that my instinct to apply directly was right. In my field and seniority level, most contract jobs are handled by recruiters and vendors who pay me directly and subcontract me to the end client. At the end of the day, I am still freelance, self-employed.
Luckily, I have skills that are in great demand. No, not luckily, I chose a 2nd career that suits me and leverages my strengths, and I worked hard to develop my chops, and I picked a software, Drupal, that made sense to me at a time it was little known, now it is very popular, for many of the reasons I chose it.
Today I talked to TV Everywhere at NBCUniversal. Tomorrow I talk to WebMD and WeightWatchers. Last week I met with Associated Press. A friend referred me to an opening at the UN Humanitarian Relief agency.
My last two contracts were short, less than 2 months each. Since October 2014, I have been working half the time, and looking for work the other half of the time. I'm so tired of it. I am trying to get hired for the long term, possibly become an employee. Right now I am self-employed with my own corporation, I pay for my own health insurance (about $500/mo) and there are corp taxes on top of my personal taxes. I'm trying to segue into a situation where my net income is about the same.
I made an appt with a new psychiatrist today. I have been seeing a Pdoc in a clinic at a hospital. He talks to me for 3 minutes then he writes a prescription for 3 months. It's been okay, but I could do better, and now that I have different insurance, I can pick a better doctor. I found one near me that specializes in mood disorders. I have been "stable" for several years, but maybe I can be even better with different medication. My new Pdoc is a woman. I like women for psychiatry & therapy, and men for my physical doctor. I'm planning to see a therapist too - psychiatrists don't do therapy anymore.
It's been cool and rainy for 3 days. I don't mind, we need the rain. They say the sun will come out tomorrow. Isn't that a song?

I\'m sorry you\'re not feeling that great. But a man of great words, maybe you can make a difference. Login into the Loneliness group, a man who puts down us about talking about our struggles really bothers me. I\'ve said my peace, but I know you can do more. Hugs, Dardi!
