Job Hunt-Still Hunting

Well, I am still looking for a job.  I just sent my resume to a preschool which is opening 2 sites near me.  Since all I've done since 1971, when I graduated from college, is teach, in various positions, I should be qualified. But like the other jobs I interviewed for, when they found out I was fired from my last job, my qualifications didn't seem to matter.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I know with my breast cancer (still in remission), lupus and fibromyalia, I really shouldn't be working, but I really don't have a choice. I need health insurance, and money. Of course, I have no idea what they pay, so I'll just have to see what happens.  So wish me luck-it sure would be nice to have a job!

I saw your post on the financial challenges group. As you are a teacher what about private tutoring for kids who need extra help with their school work? Is there a demand for teaching basic English to foreign workers? Is there a demand for piano lessons? Would you play the piano for a restaurant in your area? I\'m sorry if I offend you with any of these suggestions, I really don\'t mean to! Take care.
