Job Hunt

Well, there has been no progress on the job hunt. Either I'm overqualified, or, having been fired from my job, with the choice of applicants the different places have, they don't want someone who is just about 60 yrs. old and was fired from a job after 10 years. I am really frustrated, and trying to pay all my bills out of unemployment isn't working.  Like I have mentioned before, I have breast cancer, lupus, and fibromyalgia, so there is no way I can go without health insurance. And, it is so expensive, but that's where the money has to go. There has to be a job somewhere. This week, I'm going to go around to all the  Dr. offices, etc, and drop off my resume, just in case they are thinking of adding some staff.  I know it probably won't help, but it can't hurt, either.  I just feel like a looser-I know people who have been let go from their  job, but I don't know anyone who has been fired, and that's what hurts me-I was fired because of politics, but it doesn't matter-it's my word against my director, and she is never wrong in the higher-ups minds, so I didn't have a choice. So wish me luck in my search-maybe Santa will bring me a job!
