Jesus Sent Me A Robin and I Sent Him A Smile

Hello Dear Friend:
I was going for my walk this morning and I felt that I needed to let you know the marvellous thing that happened during that walk!
I dressed up warm because it was a chilly day. Walking down my normal route I got wondering what can I think about. So I decided to think about Jesus. I imagined He was waiting for me at the end of the street. I imagined he was wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt, his hair hanging long down his back. As I came closer I could see him smiling. "Good morning" he said. I smiled and said good morning (in my mind which is where I have the best conversations with Him. "Boy, you must be cold dear Lord, would you like to share my coat?" "Thank you" and then he smiled.
We continued to walk and I was having a conversation with him when I noticed a Blue Jay. "I love the nature you have created, it always brings me such joy! But you know I still haven't seen my first robin of the spring." "You will see it when it is time." he smiled. Then I started giggling to myself. "Why did I ask you if you were cold. I believe that you are in me all the time. So how could you be cold when you are ALREADY sharing my coat?" He laughed and then winked at me.
By this time I was finished with over half of my walk. I looked on a lawn that I was passing and there was a robin! "Thank you my Lord" and then I smiled.
Sometimes you have to look a little closer within your Heart to find joy. Sometimes you have to create it yourself.
