so i say to him, if we get backed up call me and i'll come in, we can't get backed up and there should be a certain number of people there.
so he decides that i must have meant, if he can't keep up with their signatures and that i would be coming in to help him with "signatures" because i must like him?
are you CRAZY? when i was a kid and that would happen, i used to think people were kidding. all people. didn't matter what age they were. i'm just beginning to comprehend that people really aren't kidding at all. wth? what the hell is it with people. seriously. i told him to NOT THINK. make it easy. call in how many people are there every time you come in and leave it at that. don't THINK at all. i actually SAID that. lol. there is seriously something wrong with people, i mean it. i am about 75 pounds overweight or more? and i'm old. its bad enough men act like that when you are in your teens and 20's ... even 30's but its already going by then. 40's. have you lost your mind? 50? are you blind?! i said it to kv and he starts laughing and he says, its because you are "cool". wow. all these years later and i'm still cool. and "considered" cool. yippi. had no idea. the only show that had something on this was the 70's show, when kelso and one of the other guys has a crush on lori and he thinks lori said all these things she never said at all. all lori said was that she needed to do laundry and both guys turned that one sentence into alllll these other things. wth?
when does it stop? his wife says he has gotten himself into things before, thinking stuff that doesn't exist, because he thinks so highly of himself and she starts laughing. i really don't get it, its totally sick. we had a former supervisor like that who made passes and said disgusting lewd things about every female that worked here (and allll of them left within a few months because of that) he basically sexually assaulted women his entire life and had gotten into a lot of trouble from doing that. then he would say that the "woman", who is making the complaint was "so starved for affection" and that is why HE went after her. hmmmm. you say to him, how so? YOU are attacking her. and he just stares at you.
we had another named frank at one of the other offices, but he was bipolar and claimed to be a former lawyer from nyc, low end. he blamed being bipolar and schizophrenic as the reason he thought strange things and became obsessed with what he thought. i was getting calls from him for about two YEARS after i left that office and not ONE time did i know who he was. i never knew him at all. i think i talked to him two times the entire time i worked at that office. i kept thinking, he must lead a sheltered life or something. what is it with these weirdos. he actually showed up by our house by the university and we had to call the police on him - my addresses are never listed anywhere back then, i used a p.o. box or a mailing service. for no reason he's doing what, following me around. what is he doing there, kind of thing. i could say other things, but it'd be nasty. personally, i think the latest asshole simply fucked up and then is looking for an excuse for his fuck up, its either that or he is totally mental. you can't fire people for being crazy, even if they are a surgeon, if they are schizophrenic and can still do their job you have to keep them. grrrrrr.
i went off statins for two days to feel like me again, not totally pure me, since still on lopressor, but nice to be perkier. still get numb spots though, so back on statins this morning. need to try the other swimming pool before the summer is over. i also noticed the other timeshare is emptier compared to our timeshare that is ALWAYS booked and packed. i like it better empty or close to empty.
still rainy around here which interferes with getting things done on the house. finally went to that store that sells work clothes close-outs, what a great idea. they also have hats and belts for a fraction of what it costs at a mall. they have two stores. one in st. augustine off i95 and one about an hour south of that. in the back they have damaged and/or stained pants and preppy shorts for $2. lol. for real. the only other place i know of that was like that was macy's outlet up north and contempo outlet down south and that was 30 years ago. incredible.
