Jeff Comes Home Today!

Jeff is coming home today! FINALLY! It feels like he's been away forever! I was feeling pretty lonely this past weekend and missing him badly. Then I remembered that my church was out camping at a beach for the weekend. So I went out there in the late afternoon Sat and hung out with them, joined them for dinner, then went home. Repeat the same thing Sunday but actually stayed for the evening service on the beach. Was nice! I cant' wait to pick Jeff up at the airport today! I'm sure once he gets home he's gonna want to sleep from jet lag, especially since he got up pretty early east coast time to go to the air port. 
Getting my hair done tomorrow (Wed). Will finish bleaching it and *possibly* if there's enough time might dye it red white and blue. I hope the colors will stay rich enough by Sat. They usually fade just a little in about 4 or 5 days depending on how much I wash my hair. 
The house has not yet been treated for termites! Every week they have been pushing back the treatment. A few days ago they said it's gonna happen on July 1st. Yeah right! We'll see! My neighbor said they are coming out in the morning, so I guess I'll try to get up early, because I usually have IBS issues in the AM that have me in and out the bathroom for hrs. I want to get the cats fed (and Hershey back inside) before they get here. Plus I don't want to be in the bathroom while they are in my apartment trying to spray stuff or whatever they do. I was told they are doing "spot treatments" and not tenting. 
Last week we found out that mom's best friend, Maria (an Italian lady), passed away. And her son said he was so busy he didn't have the time to call mom till like 4 or 5 days afterwards. So mom didn't even get a chance to go to the funeral. I've known her my whole life and mom has probably known her before us kids were even born. Maria loved the Lord and lived a full life, she was a great grandmother! There were 4 generations in their family. She will be greatly missed. I remember going on vacations out to the mountains in PA with her and her family. Her grand daughter, Rhonda (around my age), used to get me in trouble all the time. LOL. I can't really mourn her, because of her great life and the fact that she is now with the Lord. Pretty sure she's happy! Mom said she feels the same way as I do about it. Either that or she hasn't yet processed her death, she said. But mom told me she's doing ok and is happy with the cat keeping her company now. Glad Jeff and I got him moved in with her.
