Jar Head....
Today I went to get a hair cut. She cut it very verrrry short... but really... I do not care. In fact it is very very freeing. It is so short.
I've had a pixie for a long time but this is the shortest it has ever been. I just dread even getting dressed in the mornings when my hair is not low maintenance. I like very low maintenance and FAST. I can procrastinate for hours in the morning on just washing my hair and getting dressed when my hair is even a little bit long and if I have to MESS with it.
Now I don't even have to blow dry or anything... just mousee / gel and GO BABY GO... put on some lipstick and earrings and ENJOY THE DAY>
Hubby wears his hair very short too... he said that he looked like a jar head / marines... so I guess today I followed suit. LOL.
I was a little low key today bc of the activity level on the weekend. But I'm not really stopped in my tracks any more like i used to be. Hubby got the same "head cold" that I had earlier last week... It was a short lived thing for us both. TY Jesus...
Looks like Cinderella hasn't moved back into her castle yet. Hmm.. it's been maybe 3 weeks now. All along I just thought she was a stuck up snob and really disconnected w/ other ppl and uncaring... a real bitch... and i've ignored her for years... just won't have anything to do with her much bc of her terrible behavior... I just know that the last time I was around her / 4 years ago / i told my hubby that i was finished with her bad behavior and i didn't have to put up with her. He has to bc she is his family... but i don't have to tolerate being crapped on... so i don't.
come to find out... she is miserable, sad and hasn't been happy in a long long time. Hmm. U never know. This whole time I thought they were Barbie and Ken w/ two perfect children.... money, cars, big wig jobs, looks, health, expensive clothes, family winter ski trips, the All American dream family... but they are miserable. Never know.
Just shows u that a person's behavior has much more to do with them than it does with YOU. Hmm. I had forgotten that lesson.
Me and hubby live on next to nothing each year... never go on vacation... have an old house, old cars, and divorces under our belts... but we are happy for the most part. We aren't perfect. But we aren't miserable.... And if we are, we know it's our own self choices.
Tomorrow the house cleaner is coming. I need to work on a list for her. And I need to get a painter lined up for the kitchen and flooring ppl lined up. I'm ready to put down the money. It's time.
