Hard to explain where I'm at right now.  Holidays were unexpectedly wonderful but now back to normal but it seems okay. Snow, snow and more snow.  I don't know why I live where I do.  I swear my mother brought home the wrong baby from the hospital!  But with so much family and wonderful friends here, I don't have theguts to do anything about it.  So...I bitch, lol!  Just tired of being cold and it's only the beginning of a very long winter.   Had to shop (hate it), for smaller clothes.  Size 8 and still shrinking!  One good thing about all this. Jeans were the first priority and, as any woman knows. that is the WORST possible thing to shop for.  I tried on so many different brands and styles I can't even tell you.  I've always wanted to wear Levi's but they just don't make them that fit someone with a butt.  Not a big butt mind you, but I just can't find a pair that work.  That pissed me off too.  I think I'll have to hit an actual Levi's store and have them bring them to me.  Something about that red tag does it for me. I've been listening to a lot of music again which is so wonderful!  For the longest time since this happened I haven't been able to listen to anything so that's another joy that's come back.  I didn't realize how much I missed it. Went to the store and got a Nook lesson so now I'm all set.  Even the people in Barnes and Noble don't know anything about them.  You would think they would have trained their staff, you know?

Ahhh, snow. Just moved from Fla to NY and am experiencing my 1st \'winter wonderland\'. It\'s pretty (but not so fun shoveling the driveways!) lol PS I can relate to the jeans issue. American Eagle makes a great pair that fits my big bottom. Levis silvertab flatters pear shapes too. Good Luck:)

Thanks Trisha and Sad. Will definitely try them. Dug around in the closet this morning and found my old Lucky Brands. Woohoo, they fit! Don\'t know for how long.
2nd Strike: it\'s the amazing \"divorce diet\"! Works like a charm. Eating healthier without all those nasty carbs that he insisted on. Don\'t even have a taste for them anymore.

Love you all!

Wrote all 3 brands down. If it ever stops snowing will hit the mall again.

I could never find a pair of Levi\'s that fit me right. I am short, but not a petite, and like Trisha, my caboose ain\'t big, but I can\'t stand it when I sit down and have \"plumber\'s crack\" ick! So I have always worn Lee jeans. They are cut a little higher in the back than most jeans (unless you try those new low cut ones which I also despise). I have to have jeans that stay up when I put my chaps on to ride my horse. Otherwise, the leather strap on my chaps will rub me -- ouch.
And I hear you about the snow. We\'re supposed to get some more overnight down here in Maryland. I can\'t wait until spring...so I\'m taking my customary week in Barbados in early March. Otherwise, I might die!

Try the Not your Mothers jeans at Nordstrom. I don\'t have them but I just saw a show where everyone was saying they\'re great.

Yes, I have Not your DAUGHTERS jeans from nordies, but other places do sell them. Macys for one, but you have to pay to have them shortened there and they are also in catalogues I have seen. Nordies does not charge to shorten them. I am 70 years young and they fit great. Just snug enough to give you a great look, but also VERY comfortable, even to travel in. You just need one pair and they have different shades of blue. Yes, the infidelity diet worked good for me. Just wish I could have lost a happier way!

Well guess I\'m one of the few that didn\'t lose one dang pound! Didn\'t eat, sleep,or do much of anything but cry! Jeesh, you\'d think I\'d lose something, not even from sweating with my hot flashes! Goi figure! But my first divorce, when I was younger, I did lose, and at least saw somthing good come out of it! However,I started at 125, and dropped to 108! But this time, notta damned pound!
