I slept rough last night and woke up alot, every couple of hours.  So tired already and  it's only 10am.
I woke up to remember that the cell phone bill is due today and if it's not paid then it gets turned off. Yep, I can deal without a phone, but the fees are outrageous!  Then the water bill comes and they want 60$ more not to turn it off.  The electric is overdue, the student loans are overdue.  The dogs don't have food, 20$ in the bank, no gas in car.  Son called this morning and the clutch went out in the car.  The car insurance is due today.  The stress of waiting for long term disability is too much today.  I had perfect credit six months ago before I couldn't work anymore.  Savings are depleted after husband was laid off 1 1/2 years.  He started working, but has not made enough money to cover the house bills.  I owe family money and I hate the idea of borrowing more money.  LOL, and my link to those of you who understand online....the internet hasn't been paid in 3 months....
Just venting, need to see what agencies can help and get on it.  It won't change anything sitting here whining.

I\'m so sorry Jenny. I feel for you.

I was in a bad place prior to my surgery. I could tell my employer was getting fed up with my inconsistent attendance. My wife makes hardly anything in comparison to me, so for me to lose my job would be devastating. And without my job I lose everything. No benefits, no generous life insurance, no generous disability.

At one point, I was insisting to my doctors that I wanted my kidneys removed so that I would receive disability benefits through my employer vs. the government. I was paranoid that I would get fired before I was sick enough to claim disability.

I\'m definitely not 100% now, but I am healthy enough to continue working. I still have days where I can\'t get out of bed due to overwhelming fatigue and miss more work than I should.

I understand the need to vent. Not very many people understand what we are going through.

Sleep is another big issue for me right now too. Ambien has recently quit working which concerns me. I don\'t sleep unless chemically induced. If I fall asleep because of exhaustion, I usually only sleep a few hours.

I cannot imagine what you\'re going through. Having to deal with your poor finances on top of everything else is terrible. I really hope you get some respite from this soon. Stay strong Julie x

I can\'t imagine going through all you are going through with pain from pkd. Do you have a Mom or a sister you could live with so you can get caught up on bills? I hope you have gotten your disability money which you deserve to have.I send you my prayers and hope your doctors can resolve the pain issues soon.
Best wishes, Jessica
