January 19, 2010
It's hard to believe it's 2010. I was diagnosised in 2008 and my Mom died in 2008. 2009 was such a long year, but at the same time went by very fast. A year full a grief, illness and pain. But it's over now. At the time I thought it would never end, but it has and I feel good. I'm giving myself and God a big pat on the back. God is the One who got me through. I need to give thanks. Thanks to all of you too who do their best to send support, compassion and love. I had my tumor markers done this month. The results were good. A few points less than they were in October. So no doctors for another three months. YEAH!!! I've also have been seeing a Nutritional Response Clinician. For those of you who don't know, it's a program based on exposing your body to different properties and see how your reflexes respond. If your reflex goes weak your body needs help in processing that property. I then take organic whole food supplements to aid my body in processing what property it can't. It's a different way to look at things, but I can whole heartedly say it has helped me a great deal, so I'll continue to do it. When I think about more to write, I can't think of much. I believe that's a good thing. It means life is back to normal. I have trials with my 15 year son. He struggles with school and seems angry more than happy, which is how most teenagers are I hear. He just finished finals and got As and Bs. My 12 year old daughter is my helper and playmate. We love playing games together. My husband has made a date for us this weekend. Can't remember the last time that has happened. I'm having a new washer and dryer delivered today. Life is pretty normal and I'm happy to report that I don't have a lot to say. Today that is a good thing. Lastly, please remember my Dad in your prayers. He was recently diagnosised with prostate cancer. It is in the early stage and appears he will need just radiation. It may weaken him for a short time, but he should not experience other side effects. I think of all of you often and will remember you in my daily prayers. DS is a good place thanks to all of you.
