Went to the last bash this weekend, I was thinking of not going but it is the last one so I made the effort. I did have fun but the coughing started to get bad after a couple hours so it was getting hard to talk so I ended up leaving by 11:00. My throat was killing me by the time I got home. I think I have laryngitis, I don't think it is a cold because I don't feel sick, just the cough and raspy voice and sore throat when I get coughing alot.  I got to catch up with some friends I haven't seen in a while so that was good. Made plans to do lunch with Kari, he husband is going through some of the same stuff that I am. He is going to his first rhuemy appt this week. So we will be able to compare notes. Met another friend who just came out and her new partner and found out that kari's sister just came out too.Waiting to hear back from another friend to make plans to do lunch this week. It was nice having Jenn home for the weekend, she had fun at the party too, her and Katie have rediscovered their friendship and have made plans to go to a concert in TO and have a weekend get together and have the boyfriends meet too. I am hoping to get the business stuff finalized this week, i should have a cheque by midweek.....hopefully as things are getting a bit desperate....what else is new, sometimes being a grownup is not all it is cracked up to be. I am interested in trying some acupucture for some of the symptoms and see how it works. I want to do some stuff for me, even though it feels a little selfish when Tom is going through a lot of stressful stuff right now but I think the less stressed out I am the better I will be able to help him. Oh how life would change with the lottery...lol oh well I will have to keep trying for that one!
