IVF...Need a Good Clinic!
Hello Everyone!
I started (again) to have right pain, spotting between periods, and all the other horrible things that come with Endo. My OB has decided to put me back on the pill, but a continuous one to hopefully stop the growth of any that has already regrown. She is doing this while we find an IVF clinic we can afford.
So in Iowa, there is basically one clinic and they offer IVF, ONE Cycle for $20,000. Since we don't have insurance coverage at all, this seems outraegous to us, as it could take TWO cycles for it to work. They don't offer anything good for noncovered people.
My Question for you is, we are willing to travel to nearby states that have success rates and are willing to help out two people, because not one insurance company of clinic around here is?! :) Does any know of any good clinics in the Midwest that offers something better than good 'ole Iowa!
Lots of positive things happening on DS, and for the ones still struggling, i am right there with you, and we will each get our turn for a miracle!

I am not sure about Mid-west clinics, but I do know that lots of ladies have traveled to CNY in upstate New York. They have really good prices. I think paying for 3 cycles including FET is 8-9,000 which is the price of just one fresh cycle at most clinics. And I know at least 2 ladies on here have had successful first IVFs with them. Worth looking into even though travel would be a bit more.
Not sure where you are in Iowa, but in St. Louis, I LOVE my new clinic at Wash U. It would definitely be cheaper than $20,000 for one cycle and they do offer a plan where you can get two cycles and FET\'s for a set amount of money. I forgot what it is called and we elected not to do it since we were already on #2. Also, there are a few other clinics in St. Louis that I\'ve heard good things about. If you are interested, just message me.
Also, Polkadotgirl is from KC and she knows a few places there, if that is closer. A friend of mine just went through IVF at the Midwest Reporductive center (her results were BFN, but she was happy with the place).
If you are considering Kansas City, I absolutely LOVE my RE. Her name is Dr. Milroy and she is through KU Med. Another doctor that has a great reputation is Dr. Starks, and he is through Research hospital. Feel free to message me if you want more info on them :)
Can\'t help with a clinic but I hope you can find one that\'s an ok price for you.
good luck
I found Aurora Fertility Clinic, who offers a $22,000 3 Cycle package, if no live birth you get 70% back to continue treatment. Has anyone very heard of them or know anything about them?
Julie, your clinic responded to my Email and they are about 1/2 what my clinic cost! Thanks again!
