IUI, Here we come!!!!
After meeting with the RE last week and talking with DH, I was pretty bummed to say the least. I spent the weekend looking into adoption information, as that was the step we had decided to take right now. I was/am still feeling that my ultimate goal is to be a mom, not necessarily be pregnant in order to do so. After lots of prayers and some of the comments from my DS sisters, I felt a real tug that we should pursue IUI next month. My new RE said that I would not need a new beginning ultrasound for this next cycle, as I just had one last month and did not have a medicated cycle this month- this saves alot of $$$ as you all know. The cost of IUI- $285! That seems like nothing. I have to buy the OPK sticks, and the clomid, but that's all. My DH initially said no to the IUI with our first RE because it was $1200! I agreed, that for a 10-15% working that was a lot of money. I feel that having this one cycle only cost $285 it is almost a sign from God that we need to at least try it. We talked last night and decided that it is a one- shot deal. Because of the antibodies in DH's sperm I hope that the IUI will help separate everything out for him and give us a great chance. And so..... I need the prayers to start ladies! I have 1 1/2 weeks left in this month's 2ww, and then if a BFN again, onward to our one and only IUI cycle. Prayers that this is God's intention of making our first IUI reasonably priced, prayers that I don't turn into a crazy you know what again on Clomid, prayers that Friday's culture that I go in for shows that the bacteria is gone that I had, prayers that our IUI works! I haven't started to research the likelihood that one IUI will do the trick, not sure if that would be a good thing to do or not. I really need to stay optimistic. Also ladies, any suggestions, tips, words of wisdom for me as I prepare myself for this process? Please start the prayer chain for us and our miracle next cycle.

Lots of baby dust your way :)
You have my prayers sweetie! If I could give you any words of wisdom it would be to \"try\" to find joy the the everyday blessings over the next 6 weeks of trying. I was telling my DH the other day I wish I could bottle up what I have learned over the last few months. The only way I can describe it is to say leave the \"trying\" for \"believing and trusting\" to conceive. Honestly, I wish I could bottle up this feeling of \"peace through the journey to conceive\" feeling but I can\'t even really describe it. Just do your best to believe in your love, believe in God, and believe that your little one will come one way or another. I wish you all the best for good news soon:)
Good luck, it is exciting being able to move forward. How many months have you taken clomid? I switched to Femara and it doesn\'t turn me into a crazy B****. Just a few hot flashes.
I will be praying for you!!! Good luck!
I am still praying that God will let this cycle work by some miracle and that you won\'t have to do IUI at all. But, even if this month isn\'t it, it is so exciting to know that you already have a plan in place for next cycle. Your on my prayer list every day. Best of luck to you.
Yea!!!! So exciting! I am so glad that your DH has decided to give it a chance!! Lots of prayers your way!!!
