ITS A...................
Your not going to believe it. I still cant believe it my motherly instincts were wrong. Its a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They said everything is measuring how it should be but there is some bad news or "could be" bad news. Out of all the ultrasound pictures they took of the heart he saw one were one of the valves of the heart looks small. It has all 4 chambers and it still beating strong. He said its probably nothing and it could possibly be the angle of that one pictures, BUT he wants me to see a heart doctor just in case. I guess they'll do another ultrasound when I see them and look closer at it but I couldnt get in till Dec 11th. I'll be a nervous wreck till then. Im trying to think positive because hes still moving around like crazy and has a strong heartbeat. So that has to be a good thing. Im praying it was just the picture. I mean 1 out of what 5 or 10 looks wrong. It has to be the angle. He wouldnt really tell me what it could mean if it were a small valve. He said it wont cause me to miscarry or anything but wouldnt really say what it could cause. So I dont know or if there is something wrong if the baby will need surgery or what. I'm trying not to think about it. Please just pray my little boy is ok. In my heart I feel he is but I really dont know for sure. I love all you guys. Hugs Monica.

Monica, I am so happy you are having a boy. You are carrying on the tradition. HAHA Staying positive will be a good thing. You are very strong and I know everything will be alright, no matter what they tell you. You will have a healthy baby. Love you!!! Jessica
Congrats on your little boy! That\'s very exciting! I know it must be nerve-wrecking to hear that something may be imperfect, but remember that ultrasounds don\'t provide perfect pictures. I\'m hoping for the very best for your little guy!
CONGRATS!!! I will be praying for you and the little man!!
wow a a boy, I\'m happy for you! I think it\'s the angle, and everything is alright. we are here for you!
Wow congrats, I hope that there is nothing wrong, it could just be a bad pic. My first was born with a heart disorder so they always do Lvl II u/s on me and with my oldest son they said there was an echo over his heart and something was wrong, and he is perfectly fine, nothing is wrong. Sooo u/s are not always 100% right!! Good luck!!
I am praying that everything will be ok for you and your lil boy. How exciting about that news. Please keep us updated.
YAY!!! A boy!!! How exciting. I am so sorry that you are so worried about the u/s pictures and the results. I am sure it is just the picture if it only showed up in one but better to be safe than sorry. I will definitely keep praying that it is nothing and that your little boy is perfect. Try not to worry so much. They always get you so worked up over \"possible\" stuff. Try to take a deep breath and relax a bit. I am sure that if they thought it was something that serious they would have done another u/s right away. But I know it is so hard not to worry. I think it prepares us for all of the worrying we do as mothers. I am here if you need me. ((((BIG HUGS))))
That is so great. I\'m sure that all will be ok. Try not to worry (yeah right) we are worriers. Love the news and am thrilled for you though!!!YAY little boy!
Yay!! Boys are so fun.. Congrats. I\'m sure it is just the angle of the ultrasound hang in there. I know u must be very worried. But don\'t overstress until u know for sure. U may worry for nothing. I am hugging u from here.. luv and hugs
My niece had a smaller valve and she is fine. She had openheart surgery when she was 5 to replace it with a bigger valve and she is now a healthy 9 year old. She is smaller than most other kids her age because of it, but that is the only difference.
Good luck with your little one!
Yay for your little boy!! Try not to make yourself crazy. With all the technologies they have today even if it is smaller I\'m sure there is something they can do about it. I know it\'s easier said than done. I\'ll be sending lots of prayers your way!!
