Hey 4 days left and here I am excited like a kid who was waiting for Christmas and excited to be doing this marathon after having 1 seizure during training and 1 later I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get here but Praise God I am Is God not good ?Marathon in San diego here I come!!! Hello Lynnette, I just so happened across one of your journal writings and after reading your profile, I just HAVE to tell you that I have had Epilepsy my whole life minus 5 yrs and my seizures always seemed wrapped around major hormone flow. I have recently gone into perimenopause and my seizures went from once every 6-7 yrs to once a week! Menopause can induce seizures. I am having a VNS put in this tuesday. Maybe you could mention it to your doctor if menopause could be a factor?
