Its not a perfect theory...
I wrote something about living with grief to a friend the other day. That tears for a loved one lost, were a very good thing. That an unbound outpouring of emotion while thinking of someone taken from your life too soon, is perhaps the most sincere and focused means of expression many are capable of. And that if there were any way to send a letter of our true intentions to the departed, the tears we shed for them would seem the most direct way to do so. Its not a perfect theory, but it feels right to me most days.
