its me again
i got some stupid and very upsetting news around 1pm. i was supposed to get my "stimulus payment" today. but instead i got a letter saying that they are offsetting it because of my past college loans. it was a federal loan and it was federal $$$$. so they took it. but they were not supposed to take my husbands. so i filled out more paperwork so i'm hoping that they will give us back his $300. anyway i owed all this $$$ out so i had to explain why i couldn't pay it back. but i'm here now and am trying to hold my head up high. it was a big let-down. but i'll figure something out.

You\'d think that as much money as the government wastes on BS and pork they could let things such as education loans slip. Especially something like $300. Geez, is our country in that much trouble that they have to scarf $300 to say in business? I hope things work out. Blessings, Jeannie.

i didnt get mine. i dont know if i will. im waiting for june 12, then ill contact the IRS. i filed under my mother for school. she received hers... idk, if mine was part of that or not. she got 300 dollars i think. i dont think mine was included or not... idk.
I am sorry to hear that the government did that. Our government can be excused for their non-payment for so many things but the people can\'t. Keep smiling though. Hugs
i hope that all this gets sorted for you, i can imagine the loss that you feel, for it seems to be a great sum. i\'m sorry that this has happened to you, i dont fully understand you government, but what a rought. big hugs for you for you are holding it together quite well, i do hope that you get the money thats owed to you
