Its bound to happen now and then

Well, my first real relationship since the divorce has come to a close.  Because of that, I can start blogging :O)  She never liked the idea that one might expose their life for the world to see.  I say the more the merrier!  Not only is it great entertainment, but if you don't like what you are reading, then perhaps it is time to evaluate your behavior :) Everyone gets the rebound right?  Well, I am no different, but  I see things a bit better now  Oh she was wonderful, but she made it clear from the start that this relationship was not the same for her as for me.  So we struggled with my desire for committment and her desire for a lower key thing.  We lived together for most of 16 months, so it was a good ride.  And I can say I got more out of it than she did.  I have no clue where my life might be right now, but I can suspect that without her, it would still be in a dead end job, in a small depressed town and pretty much feeling like I was rotting away. She helped me remake my life, and I will forever feel lucky I met her.  She was the perfect person at the perfect time and because of her, I have a new career, a new life and a great attitude.  I have so much to expect from life now, and I sure am gonna miss living some of it with her.  But we were just too different and you cannot shoe horn a relationship.  It needs to flow natually, like brook water or rain fall.  It needs to go where it goes and whereever that is needs to be where it is supposed to be.   So, while I miss her, and wish there was just a way we could have made this work,   I am not turning  back, but the first few steps of going forward sure feel strange when you take them alone.  If it turns out she decides later that she misses me, then I hope she lets me know.  I will not hesitate to try again with her.  We parted on friendly terms and I will be seeing her once a month for a few months yet.  If I can find a woman half as loving, half as caring, half as generous, half as big hearted and half as good behind closed doors as her, then I will have someone twice as good as I deserve Starlit green eyes, dazzling jewelsWhen her eyes meet mine, I go to paradise and I live there in happinessI am a man NO!  Like a  God, so filled I am with her!Her lips, met with emotion, her grasp, filling and beautifulHer words, music tickling my soul, Her lust, a great fire, consuming me until I am lost in itI sweep across the starry sky, a meteor lit by the beauty in herI am more because of her, I KNOW because of herI am what I am today because her light filled me insideBut every moon has a passing, every comet a time to shineAnd now, passing slowly away, a dim light, a faint glimmer Now, only a memory, a wishful sigh, a cool sadnessBut I will always remember  the sweet times I had her lightAnd forever live inside meGood bye LC
