Its been a month

Well I've been having a lot of me time the last month or so.  Been to New York for a few days to escape the world, not that its a good place to do so but needed an ego boost and to feel like I was important so kind of played on my accent to strike up conversations and flirt, yes me flirting!!!  Spent a week or so at home then went to Cornwal for a lot of coastal walking and meditating on the cliff tops. The first night there saw the most amazing thing, being a bird watcher and more so a lover of the birds of prey this was special, a Kestrel hunting on the cliff top right infront of me hovering about 30ft away so I just sat there adn watched for an hour.  The most graceful thing to see when you're trying to meditiate is the bird that appears flightless and just hovers in such an amazing position. I've decided that I'm not going to study architecture which was the course I was describing in my last entry a month ago, but am going to study a degree in music production, then follow that up with a masters degree in compostion for film and TV, the last month I have been writing a lot of music and for once in my life I'm actually pleased with something I've achieved, well no mor that pleased I'm going to blow my own trumpet now and say its really good, if not brilliant and I'll admit that perhaps I do have a kind of ability to write music.  I'd love to hear your comments and I am going to ask a favor could you please leave a rating on YouTube for me and even a comment, just to try and get this piece out to the world, share it with all your friends as well, make me a superstar ... hehehe  well if you don't ask you don't get. È Mio Per La Presa (It's Mine For The Taking) - Dave Clissold 'Its Mine for the Taking, a piece I've written at a turning point in my life and one that really is a definition of how I'm striving to take hold of every opportunity and progress and develop into a new man.'  Ok the video isn't much to look at just pics of mewalking over a hill but the piece is a real turning point in my life and I have realised my true worth and vocation here on this planet and its to entertain the world as a musician and write music for others to perfom.  I really hope that you enjoy this piece as much as I have writing it.   For now though things are going well and I'm able to stay focused and write lots of music which is making me happy, yes there are a few problems that I'd like to sort out, like still being single and getting over the fact that the one person I really want to spend my life with, wants the strongest of friendships and nothing more. As for the business goals and the aston Martin well I've sidelined them for the time being, after 2 years trying to get them off the ground I think its time for me to focus elsewhere for a while.Anyway for now rather than babbling on I'd ldearly love to hear from you all about what you've been upto and I pray that life has been getting better for you all.  I also promise taht I will check back here a lot more regularly again and will not be a stranger like I have been. Luvs you all loads Dave x
