You have balls of steel girl. I still don't have the balls to report my abuser and he was a neighbor not a relative. I can't imagine taking that big of a step to do what you did. People are right, you're a hero. It looks like he could have done so much more damage to girls and you put a stop to it. Be proud even though you feel like a shit. You'll see it one day how much of an impact you made to your community. You are a hero. Believe it.

Cat, what you can do, and it's not easy, takes time is to Start Switching Out Words you are thinking that make you feel badly despite knowing you did the right thing by turning in your uncle.
Do you believe what he did to you was wrong?
If you do, then when you begin to question if you should have turned him in? I'm feeling scared I did something wrong....if you hear those words in your head....

What is happening now is He Is Facing The Consequences Of """"His Actions""""
You didn't Make him molest you....he made the """"decision""" to do those things to you for his own reasons...which you Taped when you asked why he was molesting you. So He Knew, His Words Will Convict Him.
This is why we all keep saying You Are Brave, Smart and a Survivor!!

It's still super scary it's a lot for me to go through I had no choice to do it what everyone said was coming true and I had proof he was doing it
