I thank you for adopting me
welcoming  me in to join your magnificent  family
I picture you dressed in a purple robe of royalty
when that deeply anticipated
and anxiously awaited 
day arrives and we finally meet.
and I will be able to kneel at your very feet
I want to thank you for your grace
when I look upon your beautiful face
into my Heavenly Father's eyes
as I pour out my heart to you and my soul with all joy cries
I want to thank you for creating me
and for creating everything I see
I want to thank you for never giving up on me
you could have so many times oh so easily
I thank you for every time you have held me  close
which is one of the things I treasure most
