It was accepted!

I applied to speak at a convention in Washington and I was notified that it is accepted!  I thrilled but if my application for travel awards (I applied for one for my husband ~ since he said he'd like to go this time) I will turn it down.  Last time I went to this conference I didn't pay but was just an observer.  This time I am volunteering to share and putting some work into it so I hope my request is granted.  Why they don't let us know at the same time is beyond me.  Hopefully, I will find out before our trip to Florida because the deadline to let them know that I'm still interested is the day we leave.  
It's snowing..........!  Haven't seen it in a long time and even then it wasn't around very long.  I looked at the weather in Tampa and tomorrow the high is 56%. Fortunately, it will get up to 80 while we're there but ~ rain is predicted.  Hopefully, just a little!
