IT TAKES a real man to be a daddy//60's outside//think i'm getting a flu
this is at you, steven - by the way. also at his father. so the drama continues. his father says to me, which would i prefer, the money or the list of names (and locations etc.) i'm not sure steven even knows this. i say to him the list. i think i surprised him because it was a reflex response, no thought needed. so when the list is provided, it says 5000 names and locations. (steven had said there is 1720 and of those i only had 22 from steven and 100 from his sister and this took twenty-five years (literally) to get it). FIVE THOUSAND i never expected. this whole thing is disgusting. glad my knee is healing. now to get in shape.
i woke up tired, which never happens with me. i slept great, but i must be getting a flu like everyone. stomach feels like lead, like it does if i take a blood pressure pill without taking something to line my stomach first. then i get up north and i felt like i had a fever and dizzy. also i keep getting a numb feeling on my upper lip and bottom of my nose, but it goes away if i take a blood pressure pill. couldn't today because i already did. so i upped the heat to 82 and i took a potassium. feel a bit better now. hope it stays like that.
facebook is wearing me out. makes me feel conflicted. miss a lot of people, BUT don't miss the drama. sorry. don't think i'm suited to drama unless they are paying me for it, like on stage. lol. the girl who's baby was born over 3 months EARLY, the baby is still okay. that is from down here. normally, i would send a card (a real one - snail mail), but not always the best idea, he still has tubes in him. one day i'll post a photo. omg! i've never seen that before. its so sad and such a miracle what they can do with modern science - improving all the time hopefully. amazes me what people go through.
found out last night at work, that ANOTHER ONE OF OUR OFFICES is shutting down. omg! gets scarier every year. amazing we held on this long i guess. some of the guys from the office that is closing came up here to look around. i think they are trying to decide where to be, if they even can be anywhere - their office is about two hours from here. they can't commute. i said it to one of the workers and he says maybe that is what the friday meeting was about, all the big guys were here. hmmm, i am sure i knew that, so why did i forget it so completely? because i subconsciously rather not know, i do that; or because i'm getting a flu or something?
headed for the marina with the girls. its going to be too cold.
another identical thing going on - i went to look at n's wedding photos, and its the same crap as my cousin up north. no facebook account of his own, everything is through his new-wife. no real contact with EITHER parent. it was always fragile anyway, lots of distance. his mother is a piece of work (she is the one that was a suspended nurse (and should be) and guess what, she is back working in a medical facility!! she works hospice because if she works in a real hospital her skills are so bad she would get sued. she gets sued and suspended anyway. how about leave nursing totally. be responsible. think bigger than your paycheck). n's father teaches ninth grade math and spends the remainder of his time gambling. he's lived by casinos his entire life. i never realized how common gambling-addiction is until i met br two years ago. then you start putting the pieces together and its like, wth, i know people like that too! n used to say, his father will never have any money, he has a house and car and the rest is his wife's because he can't trust himself. i used to think he meant drugs. i didn't understand what a bad addiction gambling is, and the people STAY like that. i don't think they recover at all.

Some members in my family had the flu recently. It\'s been crazy. I think the flu will go away when the warmer weather arrives. I hope so because they need a break definitely

Sorry to hear about another office closing down. Tell me we hear how unemployment is down and the economy is making a big comeback. That isn\'t here. Here in South Florida things are not grand at all. Places are closing and they are building new homes when the market has a glutton of homes on the market or in foreclosure. I just don\'t understand at all.

c was here and he says that if the economy stays this way and he is layed off, he is going to leave working completely and live off his 401k, you can do that without penalty if you are 59. i don\'t think he\'s that age yet though. was really surprised. he does tech work, so i\'d be surprised if he is out of work. he\'s with a national company as well. though branches can close in all fields, doesn\'t matter what you do.
i am ordering a real time court reporting book, just to take a look. not sure i want to do that again. its not really the study that is the problem with cross training, as always its the people part...never realized so many businesses go through that until the passed few years, though i\'ve heard it all my life. amazing how much crime is out there and then to have people like that around you when you work....grrrr. one of the things i liked about photography was in portraiture your work is your work, though with bookings you go through corruption again when people request you and others try to steal the bookings. then the people trying to steal your checks or bonuses....guess there really ISN\'T anything non-corrupt.
generally, people train into medical fields when they are old because it has a double benefit, as medical knowledge is something you really need as you age. on the other hand, could really use the captioning money. not sure yet. if i get the book and the theory is totally different i\'ll have to really re-think it.
c thinks it shouldn\'t be a big deal to re-train. hear this a lot with people who don\'t get it. i should have asked him if he plays an instrument, how long it took to be pro in the instrument, then ask him, okay now you have to train an another instrument that is similar but a different language in music and go pro with it. its the only way people understand what you are saying and even then they don\'t get it. he also thinks that court reporting shouldn\'t be a stressful career. hmmm how about surgery during surgery or performing....anything where you CAN\'T stop, is high stress. amazing. wish when people don\'t know, they don\'t advise or even \"think\" because they are sooooo far off that its insulting.
went to see another $44,000 house today that was 150,000 five years ago. doesn\'t have enough land though.
