It\'s too darn hot...

Once every summer I break out my old Casey Stengel story about the hot steamy weather we have here in the Lou. The story goes that at the 1966 Baseball All Star game that was held here in St.Louis, legendary baseball Coach Casey Stengel was asked what he thought of Busch Stadium, which had just opened.  Seeing that the stadium field thermometer read 100 plus degrees, he replied.."Well, it certainly holds the heat well". He could have expanded his comment to include our entire metropolitan area in the summer. As a result I don't feel too frisky. My pf's are down and I and my nebulizer have become fast friends. I just don't have any energy at all. I finally kicked myself in the butt to make an entry but I sure didn't feel like it. But lethargy can feed on itself and become self perpetuating and I refuse to become a slug. Therefore I will keep pushing (within reason) to avoid falling into that rut. I hope you all are doing well. Stay cool.Tom
