IT'S THEIR SOULS AT RISK!
It truly is sad, as IT IS THEIR SOULS THAT ARE AT RISK!...Having endured this dispicable thing of estrangement by our 'ADULT' kids, for over 15+ years now, I would like to suggest, that we need to be careful to try to not make excuses for our estranged ADULT kids cruel behaviors. Although it is certainly true that many others can & do have some influence over them, (including divorced x's, daughter and son in laws, in laws, direct relatives like grannys and grand pops, aunts and uncles, etc.,)...These estranged ADULT... I REPEAT!!?!...adult...estranged kids, fully MADE THIS choice TO BEHAVE IN THIS SELFISH, CRUEL, COLD, ETC., WAY, and to reject and shun us. We raised them better than this. Denying who REALLY holds this responsibility for this estrangement, can so often only prolong the necessary acceptance of their sad, but severe, moral character flaws. It truly rests on them for now and until the end of time! IT IS they WHO WILL HAVE TO FACE THEIR 'MAKER' ON THEIR OWN, (W/O THEIR WIFE/HUSBAND, IN LAWS, ETC). Our sad and selfish narcissistic estranged kids must FULLY own this, even tho it hurts for us to have to accept this. May God, or the essense that is, forgive them if they fail here on this earth, to right their vile wrong of THEIR totally immoral & UNNECESSARY ESTRANGEMENT FROM THEIR MOMS (AND DADS)! You know what concerns me too is the scripture about honoring the father and mother, that their years will be long.. now that is to be answered for too! :-(
