IT'S THE SILLY SEASON

Hi Journal,
It's that time of the year, it's the silly season.
I don't know if it's the time of the year,
or whatever the season maybe,
my son reckons I'm old and half crazy anyway.
Glad he only said half crazy.
Some will go all the way,
no doubt and say I'm full on crazy.
Maybe, both perhaps, might be, possibly could be, correct.
Then again maybe not, anyway, who cares it's the silly season.
I've been rather busy of late.
Along with others, I have been working hard,
even if it is the silly season.
Together my mates and I, have been doing our duty,
as is expected of us at this busy time of the year.
Busy with a capitol B.
We have been preparing the way, for he that cometh.
Now as in Lapland, where he that cometh makes full use,
and relies upon the local fawner, to help him to carry out,
his duty on that special day, Rudolf and his band of reindeers.
So too he relies on Australian fawner help pull his sleigh,
which I am told will be carrying a bigger load than ever this year.
So enter Skippy and his band of kangaroos, who will be, and are,
much better suited to do the job in hot climes.
It is to this end that has seen us so very busy teaching, training,
coaching and instructing Skippy and his band of roos.
With the teams changing places,
as Santa crosses the equator in both directions,
I can safely say that the kangaroo team and leader,
are fit and well prepared, and ready, as they must be,
seeing that Australia is the first place of delivery.
So there you go and here I go, LOL
crazy or not I wish you all a,
VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Stewart... I haven\'t been reading journals much lately but read this today.. it made me laugh and warmed my heart. You have this unique way of bringing the positive out in everything!! Although I do wonder if skippy were in control of the slave wouldn\'t Santa get whiplash, all that up and down hopping and all??
