It's snowing...again.
Yesterday it was -18 degrees when I woke up, and today it was a warm -13 degrees. LOL. It is supposed to get a little warmer today because a storm is coming, yeah! The only bad thing is that the fibro pain has tripled...if that is possible when it is already off the scale of pain... I haven't written or even been on here for 2 years, sorry... I guess I was hoping for the miracle cure to come along and of course, it hasn't. I have had fibro for 23 years and wonder sometimes what my life would have been like if I hadn't had it?? I shudder at the thought of another 23 years, but then worrying about the future is useless. I was able to use my snow blower two days ago and blast the snow drifts of 2 ft and the level snow of 1 ft out of my driveway and I blazed a trail to my chicken house. I walk with two walking sticks now and carry gallon jugs of water to my little flock. I have two heat lamps in the hen house and even then some of the eggs were frozen yesterday. My dogs have been spending a lot of time in the house, my big border collie knows I am in pain because she is so gentle with me. She climbs on my lamp but doesn't put her paws anywhere on my body. She lays down carefully and snuggles. She is such a source of joy to me. My other little dog has pain issues...I have wondered at times if she doesn't have fibro because she likes massages and I can feel knots in her muscles, too. Can dogs have fibro? Well, I am rambling so I will close this for today. I promise not to stay away so long and I promise to read your posts.
