I'm having a lot of rage and bitterness. Memories of the lies & the cheating that was right in front of my face keeps me up at night. The hate is consuming me, that he made an ass of me. I wish I could get revenge.
I would be careful about letting yourself be hateful. It\'s understandable if you have been treated badly, but by allowing yourself to be consumed with negativity, you unwittingly trap yourself in a negative cycle that attract more of the very thing you don\'t want. Instead, why not consider the fact that at least you know and you are away from someone who would have only hurt you more. In time, by not reacting, your ex may well wonder if he made a serious mistake and come looking - that is your revenge, but its positive since you have taken the higher ground and know deep down inside you deserve much better than the shabby treatment you received. This way you will feel empowered, you will realise you are now free of a bad situation, and you will be much more able to move on with your life and attract someone perfect for you with the qualities you do want. You\'ll also sleep better:)
I know how you feel..I do..been there. All the anger does is keep you stuck..feel it..allow it..then let it go. You have the right to be angry..don\'t get me wrong..it\'s natural. It takes time..but try to keep shifting the focus onto you and your progress and healing. You feel he stole from you..took your power away by lying and sneaking around. It\'s a cowardly thing to do. Doing things that give you joy and power back in your life will help you tremendously.
Thank you both. I\'m struggling. Although I would never do anything vengeful, it tears me up inside when I look back in hindsight and realize all the times he lied to me and snuck around with her.
