It\'s ok to hurt
On Monday when I found out that my IUI failed I was heartbroken. I was frustrated with the situation, with myself, and even was starting to become frustrated with God. I then began to feel guilty for feeling all these negative emotions. I went to a church service called Celebrate Recovery at my church Friday night. My preacher preached a sermon that really touched me. He spoke about James 1:2-3 "Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way consider it an oppurtunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow". Then he went on to say that though the Bible says this it doesn't mean that we can't hurt. Yes, I can find comfort in knowing that I am growing through the rough times and that God is in control and will take care of me. But I am human and when things don't go the way I wanted it is still ok to hurt. And when we hurt God hurts. In the book of John it talks about Lazarus' death in chapter 11. It says that Jesus saw Mary and Martha weeping and all the people around them. Then Jesus himself wept with them. Jesus wept because of the pain Lazarus' family felt due to his death. He cares and when we hurt He hurts. When I realized that it was ok for me to hurt and I shouldn't feel guilty and that God was hurting with me I was able to start to heal and move forward. Now, one week later, I am still sad that my IUI didn't work but I am happy and excited to move forward with the next one. Monday I couldn't imagine doing another IUI anytime soon but now I can't wait! I am very thankful to have a God that cares!

The amazing work of faith and hope. I repeat my saying again. I know life goes on but it doesn\'t make today any better. We all need time to grieve and hurt. It is the person strong in faith and mind that can pick themselves up and move forward. I hope this month will be your month. Number 2 was lucky for me. Praying for you. XO :)
God is Good! He has a way of giving us exactly what we need when we need it. Be encouraged by his grace guiding you forward. Prayers for you and your next cycle:)
